Hi, the last couple of months i have had problems syncing mi ipod touch to itunes it says that this iphone was found but could not be identified. Also i got this thingy on my ipod that measures how many % energy is left on my ipod, when i try to sync it it always gets stuck on 94% although its 100%.

Also my Itunes freezes ALOT (but only for short periods of time). But sometimes itunes workes flawlessy and always connects with the ipod but it only lasts for a couple days before goin back to crappy. Could anybody please advice me on what to do?( I really want to keep all my songs and the data for them)

Im new to this forum so please don't flame me for not looking around the forums for a guide.

Well Actually I've been here for a while and I've never seen this Problem.

But here is what you can try.

    Try these seperately

    1. Your computer has a virus use your Anti virus to clean it, if you don't have one Download AVG antivirus at download . com

    2. Uninstall iTunes, and re install using a new downloaded copy.

    3. Break your iPod in Half then try to conect

    4. Defragment Drive, Clean up internet files and files you don't use ETC... Limewire Videos you don't need to be watching.

    5. Restore Your iPod And hope For the best, sometimes iPod's Want to Die, and You need to restore.

    1. i don't think i got a virus cause the rest of my computer works fine
    2. i really don't wan't to do this if i lose all my songs and have to add them again along with all the data i had to write for them ( albums, album pictures e.t.c )
    3. How the hell do i do that without breaking it?
    4. can't think of any spessific things i don't use tried to delete 300 but that din't help.
    5. Really don't want to do this either as i didn't jailbreak my ipod somebody did it for me + i dont want to reinstall all my apps

ok, Sorry about Number 3, I was kidding.

And well, The error just might bye a sync problem, and well the virus thing, I said it because it happened to my friend.

But well what version did you jailbreak and how?

Also what programs did you install, prior to it breaking like that??

    Try deleting iTunes_Control from ~/var/mobile/Media/.
