I tried to jailbreak, i installed community sources to get more applications, but the "trip" application didn't appear, according to ipodtouchmaster's guide. So I tried installing the application manually but couldn't get that to work, either? someone could help me? Please?

im pretty sure you tried to install the "trip" application without installing the community sources package first.

from the readme: "Note that before Trip1PogoStick is visible, you must install the Community Sources package"

Yeah I thought someone might say that. But I can assure you that I did in fact install the community source package first. After I'd done that I did get many more applications etc. but not the one necessary. Some help would really be appreciated as I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere right now. Thanks alot for you taking time anyway bugmenot, but I'm sure I've installed the community source package.

From Safari in you iPod: Follow the link in the instructions. http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/beta

Then click YES on the pop up window that pops up.

    No, Go back into installer
    IN SSH, type in /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

The application you're looking for should be in the System category.
