I have 2.2.1 Pwned iPod Touch using latest iTunes.

Everything was fine and working good till I plugged in my wife's Nano.

Now the iPod Touch is missing the extra iTunes tabs like apps and I cant sync apps. The bar that shows how much space is being used only shows music movies space and not app space.

Is there away to fix this? I don't want to go thru the trouble restoring and I want to install new apps

Go to preferences, (Edit>Preferences>*Here*) And make sure that Applications is ticked.

No I looked up this problem and alot of people say that. I CAN see the apps in iTunes but when you select the iPod Touch there are no tabs.

    Ill up a screen.

replug it a couple times, restart the computer, and the ipod touch. This has nothing to do with your wifes ipod, i promise.

again: restart both your ipod and computer. That should fix it, it happened to me once, this fixed it.

Try to completely remove iTunes. Call apple or go on their website for how to do it.

Same happened to me. I think it could have been iTunes think the iPod touch was a nano so it changed the sync files so it gets synced as a nano. Best advice: Backup, Restore.

I have exactly the same problem.

Are you using iFunBox to transfer files?

BTW, I don't think the problem is iTunes. The problem is with the ipod/iphone because I tested mine with several computers (win + osx) with the same result.
