Hey Im still new at this stuff but I've looked all over for an answer and I can't seem to get one. I jailbroke my 8 gig touch and it worked for a while but when it went into restore mode after the battery died it can't be restored. The problems vary from time to time I have gotten errors:6,4,100,1004,16005,2005, and 2000 as well as it seemingly to restore fine and then get hung up at restoring the ipod firmware which it will stay on for days on end. It is in black screen which i assume is dfu mode and only changes when i try to unsuccessfully restore it. I have uninstalled itunes several times, downgraded it, tried all the firmware versions pwn'd or otherwise. iNdepenence doesn't register it and nither does ziphone. Im at my wits end here can someone help.

When I hold the home and power button at the same time for 10 secs and then just the home button for 5 more- the screen does nothing- all it does is lets itunes see it again once the restore fails and automatically ejects it.
