iPod Touch Internet

    Hey
    I just wandered if there is anyway my iPod Touch 2G can reach the internet without wifi?
    Like with some kind of dongle or something?

    you should be able to use a wifi card connected to your computer and make it give out a signal. you just need the card.

    I do have wifi at home but wandered if there is anyway I could go on the internet away from home eg. in the car or at a friends house?

    Hmm..

    I think I read something a while ago about a portable wifi hotspot, that uses 3g Internet and makes a mini wifi network for you to use. It would be kind expensive though, and just another thing to carry around

    At your friend's house, if they have WiFi then you can just connect it there...

    However, in the car...

    Yes there is. It's from Verizon Wireless. It's a small box which you carry around and it basically acts like a protable WiFi router.

    You would have to pay monthly I'm guessing.

    That sounds great but would it still work in the UK.

    There might be an English version or this might work in England.
