hey, I've just got the ipod touch and I've tried connecting it to the internet, i have a wireless router which is a netgear one. The only problem i have is when it asked for a password. I don't know what the password is or where to find it.

    thanks.

You need to look at your routers settings on the computer it is connected to. Look for the encryption code wep or wpa and type that in as the pass.

um im not sure about netgear... but on linksys routers you can just hold the reset button for about 45 seconds and it will disable the password when it resets. i think netgear has something similar.

whoever set the password for a secure network might be upset but whatevaaaa.

A lot of times the WEP or WPA is actually on the physical router itself. I believe if it's Netgear you can type 192.168.0.1 into your browser and "admin" for the password and get into the firmware settings.
