    Hello,

My 32G 3rd generation ipod touch has been acting up a lot lately, but i'll go straight to the point.

My ipod is stuck at the Apple logo and about every 5 min, the screen goes dark, and brings up the logo again, it just keeps doing this.

I've put the ipod in DFU mode and Recovery mode, but it is not recognized by either itunes or My Computer.

I have tried 5 different cables, all which work with other ipods
I have tried 3 different computers, all with the latest version of iTunes, wich also work with other ipods

I even tried iLiberty+, so I could kick it out of recovery mode, but even this program won't recognize it

Neither the computer, or the ipod make any sound when it is plugged in, and itunes does not bring up any error messages either. I do know that the ipod charges because it would have run out of battery by now.

I cannot do anything with it, other than put it in reovery or DFU mode. I am able to get out of these modes by simply holding down the sleep button, and the ipod will appear to be off. when I turn it back on, it gooes back to showing the apple logo.

I read on the forums for hours, but could not find any info that could help me resolve the issue.

    Help would be greatly appreciated

I am probably correct but it's in a bootloop. You have to get it into recovery mode pull it and put it back in ad click restore before it restarts. You soaks you tried DFU but keep trying. Otherwise apple may be the best choice. Visit the genius bar perhaps?

I cannot restore, my iPod is not recognized by anything, not itunes, nor any of my computers, even when on DFU or Recovery mode.

    That's my main problem

Do you now what caused the boot loop?

Perhaps you can remove it via ssh.

My ipod is (or was) Jailbroken with Greempois0n in version 4.1, It had been working fine for day until yesteday i plugged it into my computer, and saw it was not recognized by my computer or Itunes.

I decided to go to Setting-> reset

the Ipod turned off, then on, showed the Apple logo, and started the boot loop

Sorry, but I don't know what ssh is, could you refer me to a guide perhaps?

Thank you for the quick responses guys.
