I have a 1st Generation iPod Touch. Have had it for about a year and a half. about 6 months or so ago the home button sunk in, and never to return again xD

Ok so it doesn't work anymore. And I can feel a little click when I press it, but nothing happens. I think it got sunk in too far or something. Maybe pressed to hard.

Anyhow. Anyway to fix this? or do I need to just buy a new iPod

You could open it up and push it back out

How would you do that? Im not sure if the iPod Home Button itself would still work, but its worth a shot

I'm pretty sure this is a common thing with 1st Gen iPod touches. I don't think your warranty is still valid, but may as well go into your local apple store and see what they could do, whats the worst that could happen; they tell you they can't do anything?
