    one click boot

First put your ipod in dfu mode while connected to your computer and then download the one click boot program and run it

restore to the normal non-custom firmware and try again.

    Plug ipod into computer
    Open iTunes
Press Restore under the summary tab on your ipod in iTunes

i tried that and i get a message saying its software for ipod is unavailable, and now when i plug it in my itunes doesn't recognize it anymore. i only get the little bubble at the bottom of my screen say "one of the usb devises attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."
