Ipod Touch Help? wont turn on

    hey guys, recently my friend tryd to jailbreak his ipod, but in the middle of doing so he has to stop. now he can't get his ipod starting, nothings happening when i put it into DFU mode nothing happens ethier all that happens is Itunes loads and it just says Ipod with the rest N/A when he trys to restore it, it says he has to get the newest version of itunes. which he already has,
    nothing seems to be working his ipod just doesnt come on.
    Any help will be appriciated, thanks

    DFU mode

    You have to download the 2.2.1 firmware from somewhere

    Shift-click restore in iTunes

    when i put it on DFU mode nothing happens it only comes up on itunes, but nothing happens to the actuall ipod 2nd Gen

    nothing is supposed to happen, dfu mode is a black screen

    where do i get the 2.2.1 firmware download from? anyone have it?

    You download it from a site you find with google.

    Black Screen

    I have that problem where my computer and itunes doesn't recognize my itunes 2G. It has a black screen and will not turn on I tried to run dfu but it says no ipod.. Ireally need to get this going. any and all help is appreciated
