I have a jailbroken ipod touch and got sbsettings, i have put cydia in the dock section, i then downloaded 'lockdockbar' of cydia and it has made my itouch to go into safe mode. Now i cannot get into cydia to delete 'lockdockbar' as i cannot get into sbsettings because it is disabled in safe mode.
Does anyone know how to get into sbsettings or cydia in safe mode please!
    Thanks

Use SSH to remotely login, then type
    Code:
    sudo apt-get remove lockdockbar
Or replace lockdockbar with whatever the package's name is.

Get DiskAid.. this will allow you to SSH as long as your iPod is plugged in.

Nevermind the code, but follow my instructions.

    Download this and unzip it.
    http://www.downloadtaxi.com/d/1247501117/

Once DiskAid is opened, and your pod is plugged in, do this:

    Click Root Folder.
    Double Click Applications
    Paste Poof.App into Applications
    Reboot Your iPod

Click On Poof (should be on home screen)
    Unhide Cydia.

    Reboot.

Now Cydia should be on your home screen.

If Poof doesnt work, do this:

    download this:
    http://www.downloadtaxi.com/d/1247501625

unzip it, and paste categories.app into Applications

    Reboot.

Click on Categories (should be on home screen)

    Create a Category.
    Add Cydia to that category.

    Reboot.

Go into that folder (category) and click Cydia.
    Voula

    Sigh...
Props for helping him, (anti-props for telling him to disregard my solution) but there's one thing I need to get straight.

DiskAid is not SSH. It's just a file browser.
SSH is a remote login protocol (like telnet). SSH is a terminal comand. (See screenshot) WinSCP, Cyberduck, and things like that are just GUIs for SSH.

i know diskaid isnt ssh but it acts as one... and he cant ssh anyway becasuse safe mode disables mobile substrate which is required to ssh.. so im just trying to help his problem

With DiskAid could he not have just removed lockdockbar, which he said was causing his problems?
