So this is the background info:
When I plug in my headphones the sound is weak and fuzzy, but If i bend the headphone jack on a slight angle it sounds fine.
Apple said the cost to fix the jack would be the same as buying a new ipod..

So I bought this adapter that goes into the place where you charge your ipod. Now the sound is perfect the only problem is its always on full volume..so unless I want to go deaf this is not that useful.
adapter looks like this http://cgi.ebay.ca/Black-For-iPod-N...er_MP3_Player_Accessories?hash=item4cee19ddb6 .. I just don't have that long piece extending so its smaller.

My friend told me to jail break my ipod... He said that once I jailbroke my ipod with spirit there would be away to get the volume control back up when the adapter is plugged in, does anyone know how to do this
