ipod touch hdd

    i really dont know where this would go but if i buy a 32GB ipod touch hdd off of ebay can i replace the 8GB one in my 8GB ipod touch with that one would that work out?

    ipod touches use flash memory not hard drives... but i don't think a 32 gb flash drive would be compatible an 8 gb ipt. the motherboard wouldn't handle it.

    im not sure tho but i don't think it'll work.

    I have no clue if it would work but would it not be easyer to just sell the 8gb and get a 32gb?

    if i sold it i would only get about maby 100-150 out of it (thats how much i have seen them go on e-bay) i thought about taking it back to walmart where i bought it (i only had it for about a month and half) and exchanging it for a 16 and paying the 100$ diffrence

    Go ahead. It'll be better. It's imposible to switch the flash unless you have the schmatics for the iPod touch and know whats soldiering.
