    2G iPod touch
Hi all, I just got an used but minty iPod 2G Touch 32GB recently. At the first few days, it was working fine. Then I started installing the iTunes. After I connected the Touch to the PC via USB to access to iTunes. Things went hay wired.

It did not start instantly but after the first time I disconnected the Touch. I switched it off. Then I could not switch it on again! I had to do a HARD RESET and then restore it. It happened so many times again and again and AGAIN!

Not only all the Apps are lost, but also those Music and videos I uploaded from my PC were not there anymore. I had to do over and over again, then I already given up uploading music and videos, just in case it happens again.

As I am typing now, I am restoring the Touch!

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jacky

PS: FYI: My Touch is upgraded with software 3.1.2. Not jail broken.

Your cord might be bad... If you can, try a different cord.
Try a different computer. Or you can return your iPod and get it replaced

He said it was a used iPod.

Even if it's a used iPod, it may still be under warranty. I bought mine from a friend, and it was still under warranty when I got it. But alas, water vapor reached the water damage detection strip and has nullified my warranty.
