On Friday (July 9, 2010) I was standing outside for nearly 2 hours and it was raining pretty hard and I had to check something on my iPod. It was out for a minute or two, and the screen got pretty wet. I just brushed the water off, and put it back in my bag. The iPod was in a case, and when I got home the iPod was still wet (pretty much everything in my bag got wet), but just a little. It still works fine, but I want to know if there's something that I should do? Even if little water was on it?

You could put in it a bowl with rice. The rice should absorb all the water

Yeh that works as far as I know everyone says do to that, but it does seem slightly odd

How long should I keep the iPod in the bowl of rice?

Heh, what I did was that I set it under my router - that thing gets pretty hot. That solved my problem...

If you own a toaster, I dont recommend you use it, as for the rice, try a day and see if the results are good enough.
