I've been getting the same thing. Last time it synced it showed the date to Feb 16 2006.... then before that it was November 17th 2006?

I checked the date on my PC and it's correct.

    Anyone have any ideas?

This is a well-known phenomenon and a glitch it iTunes. Pretty much, if iTunes is running when you put your computer to sleep, if you keep running iTunes after waking up you PC, and then sync, your iPod gets some crazy incorrect time. The only workaround I know of is to restart iTunes, and to always make sure to close it before sleeping your PC.

I know that if you have more than one OS installed, the other one may have a different time and date set if you never update it. If you don't know what an OS is, never mind. If you don't know what it means to have more than one OS installed, again, never mind.
