I tried connecting to my iPod touch's FTP by following what people said, put in the IP address, the user as root, and the pass as alpine, although when I jailbroke my iPod i changed alpine to ipod...so I wouldn't forget it as easily, and so when I try to connect to my FTP it keeps failing, what am I doing wrong? Please respond.

What does Total Commander do? Can't I just connect using my FTP client?

total commander is exactly the same as your FTP client but without the wireless bit so it transfers files 100X faster =))

(Not 100X faster but alot quicker)

I just downloaded a different SFTP client and it worked fine now. So that solves my problem.
