    OK -

    I've got an i-touch (8MB PA623LL) updated to the latest 2.2 (5G77) software.

I also have a Sony blutooth transmitter BT8iP and a sony stereo headset with microphone model DR-BT22A

I've installed fring and can make skype out calls and I can hear the people I call - who can not hear me.

Is it unrealistic to expect the bluetooth connection to enable the microphoe functionality for the i-touch?

    Can this be activated?

    Thanks for any information...

no its not unrealistic... you have to get the firmware from the iphone then place them in the correct spot on your touch through ssh... you can only do this if you jailbreak. i was going to try to do this but cant get ahold of the correct firmware and nobody seems to know. if you get any progress tell me though.
