    Hi,

Basically when ever I turn my iPod on the display after about 5 seconds of being fine suddenly goes fully white, and then comes back but the the display flickers white and it has white 'lines' on it.

If i press the sleep button on the top and unlock it again the screen will be fine but after 5 seconds once again it will happen. If i leave the ipod in sleep for 10-15 minutes the screen will stay normal for longer - maybe a minute or so but it still eventually goes white.

I am just wondering if anybody knows what the problem is with this, i would think that it is a software problem because it will stop when i turn the screen off and be fine for a while, but I have no idea - i've tried hard restarting it and the Home+Sleep+VolumeUP combination.

    Thanks

    Oli

Try a restore. If that doesn't work, contact apple.

So I take it that it's not under warranty anymore. Well, your choice. Send it in or just get a new iPod.

Sounds like an LCD issue. Go to apple and get it replaced or fixed
