Ok, I have a jailbroken ipod touch 8GB(2.2.1), and I tried to restore it but no such luck for whatever reason. It gives me "error 6", I dunno why. Of course I looked it up, but I only got vague solutions which didn't really do anything for me.

    Please, any help?

You can't just restore it by clicking the "restore" button on iTunes if it's jailbroken, put your device to DFU mode, then Shift-click Restore and choose your firmware. (NOTE: I might also be wrong, I have never had to do this myself, but that's how I've heard it should be done.)

I did that. It didn't work. I did shift+restore and used 2.2.1 IPSW and didn't work. any one else have this problem and got it fixed?
