iPod touch enters restore mode everytime I reboot it

    I have an iPod touch 2g with firmware 3.1.2 and I used blackra1n to jailbreak it.

    My problem is everytime I reboot it, it goes into restore mode and then I restored it and tried jailbreaking it again with blackra1n and yet again it still goes into restore mode everytime I reboot it.

    you have to run blackra1n in order to reboot whenever you see the connect to itunes logo on screen

    I see. That's so simple haha, and will this happen everytime I turn my ipod off?

    Yes. It is because you have a 3rd gen that is tethered.

    OP, are you sure it's a 2g?
