    I really need your help!

My iPod Touch 3G 32GB 3.1.2 didn't start any apps, except the original and apps from cydia, so i reset everything.

Now it starts in recovery mode, but iTunes firt want to restore it...

    And blackra1n doesn't work, i tried it 1000 times...
The windows says the jailbreak is done after reboot, but i doesn't reboot, i just can see the pic of geohot for 5 min. then it turns off. After that nothing changed...

Does anyone know what to do? (except restoring, i didn't want to lose jailbreak forever)

Dude... Close iTunes and try again.. If that doesn't work, get a 3.1.2 IPSW firmware file and us redsn0w.

i tried it another 1000 times, but it doesn't work.

But I read that you can use redsn0w for all devices with the FW 3.1.2, except iPod touch 3G.

    Redsn0w supports the 3gen now.

I am not sure but I have found through experience that you need to downgrade to 3.1.2 firmware on the 3rd Gen. Then the only problem is that it becomes a tethered boot device, so when you download blackrain make sure it is an icon on your desktop so you can make it rain to instantly boot your device.

    I tried it 1000 times...

Alright I was just trying to see if you did all the steps thats all. Just try doing a restore loop by holding down the power button and the home button but letting go of the home button and if not you may have to redownload your firmware and rejailbreak it, which i had to do that once to someones 3rd gen. before.

Thanks for you post, but I already tried every power and homebutton combination, and that doesn't work.

I also downloaded my firmware and jailbreaked it with blackra1n and redsn0w, but that didn't work, too.

Does anybody else know what to do?

I just don't get out of recovery mode and don't want to restore with iTunes to 3.1.3 ...

You're running it once to jailbreak and then once to boot, correct?

    I try to explain:
My iPod was jailbreaked, and everything worked perfectly, but suddenly i couldn't start any apps, except the originalapps which was installed from beginning.

Theres an option on the ipod where you erase everything (settings and files). So I tried it, but now it stucks in the recovery mode.

I tried to rejailbreak and to boot with blackra1n and redsn0w, but nothing work...
