ok, I just got a 1st gen 16gb ipod touch. Its got 2.2 and is jailbroken. I want to change how my dock looks. I dont use the videos, photos, or itunes. And even if i did i would rather them in my apps pages than in my dock. I want to add my mail and some other apps in my dock. Is that doable?

Just hold your finger on an app in the dock til they start to wiggle and drag it out. Replace it with whatever you want.

ok, thanks man. Any other nice little tips like that? haha this is my first touch and im still getting used to it. Its got cydia and [PIRACY]us n all that but i gotta get the drift of it first. Is there anyway to remove those unnecessary icons like youtube, and other ones i wont really use at all?

You can install Categories from Cydia (allows you to put apps into folders) or Poof (allows you to hide apps without messing with folders).

Yep. Just search for it or locate it in the Utilities section.

one last quick question, is there a way to sync what i type up in Microsoft word to the notes app on the touch? Or is ther any app able to do that?

and i cant seem to figure out how to use the remote app to control my itunes. It says go to devices list and select ipod touch, and theres a passcode, but theres no where to enter a passcode in itunes.

There is no application to sync Microsoft Word files to the iPod touch.
