    Hi,
Apologies if this is in the wrong place but need some help if possible.
I ended up deleting all my data of my ipod touch by carrying out a reset (DFU mode) and now there is nothing on it. I have used Iphonebrower and can see a fair few folders but they are all empty.

I had some music files that my friend had composed (he is a musician) as well as some family video files so these are not backed up to itunes and I no longer have original pc these were on.

Is there anyway I can recover these files (I think the answer is probably No but hoping I am wrong)?

I have not uploaded anything more to the ipod touch in the hope that I can salvage the files.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you restored then no but if you just did the update I think you can retrieve them.

the only place I would have had the files is on a old pc which I no longer have. Totally my fault I was hoping that I could get the ipod touch to show as a drive then scan it for deleted files but as far as I can tell the drive option isnt possible either.

    Thanks for your response.

    Yeah.
    Sorry I couldn't help.
You could try restoring from back up and browsing around
