Ipod touch crashes my router

    hey guys,

    i am having problem with my ipod, obviously, but anyway the thing is is that when i try to connect to my wi fi the router i have crashes and my internet stops working the network doesnt even show up on my computer! is this a virus or what. if i turn the wi fi off on my ipod then the router works agian

    I've never heard of an iPod crashing a router. Little more info?

    ok so this started happening last night and i noticed because i was charging my ipod and it was on but my internet was not working i went and checked the router. i turned it off and on agian and it seemed to be working fine. but when i turned my ipod on agian my internet stopped so i turned my ipod off and the wi fi went back up! i am a little confused to.

    maybe it's because it's set up to a 3rd party device. It happened to me when I set my router up to my xbox 360. All I had to do is reboot the router.

    i get this on my router too.....resetting it does not work...
    it just crashes the whole network where my laptop is applied.
    very disopointing
