Ipod touch computer connection?

    Is there anyway to connect my ipod touch to the internet with my computer (via usb) without using wifi?

    .......the wifi connection at my house disappeared

    No, there is not. However, many computers can be used as wireless routers themselves. Look up your model and find out. For example, any Mac with airport can act as a wireless router when an ethernet cable is plugged in.

    With a mac you open up system preferences, go to sharing and turn on internet sharing.

    Yeah, it really is. The only downsides are that:
    1) The computer needs to be on for it to work
    2) The range of the wifi is not that great.

    But for my family, it is a good solution. Instead of buying a new router, we can use our current technology. I imagine that at a meeting or something where there is only one internet connection through Ethernet and there are ten people who need to be online, that this is a lifesaver.

    dude i had the same question a long time ago. i wanted to use my ipods wifi on the computer. there should be a way though, ya know.
