whenever i plug in my ipod to charge, it doesn't take very long to fill up all the way even if it's completely dead. and also it gets very hot when i charge it and when i use it. and like maybe 10 -15 minutes of using safari or a game the battery is halfway dead and super hot. i bought my ipod from best buy a while back, not exactly sure how long. is there any way i can fix it or return or something?

    thanks

Unless you bought it in the first week you can return it and get a v1 refurb

Listen carefully! The first ipod was sold on Sept 5th or so, so if you didn't buy ti the first week they were introduced it's still under warranty. You can take it in and get a 1st Gen Refurb.

  9. Probable solution

You should let it die and then recharge it to it's fullest you probably overcharged it thus frying the battery it's crucial you unplug it as soon as it's fully charged
