Ipod Touch charger

    Hi i have a usb charger from a generic mp4 made in China.
    I want to know if i can use it to charge mi Ipod Touch.
    The specifications are:

    TRAVEL CHARGER
    IC
    Input: AC 1100-240V 50/60Hz
    Output: DC5.0V+-0.5V
    DC200mA-300mA

    not sure, think the output usually has to be 5v. the ipod touch has a surge protector though, so i think you'll be ok

    Theres no way to tell without opening up the charger or just trying it. The iPod Touch requires a small circuit to provide a voltage to the data pins of the USB.
