Help I tried to upgrade my ipod touch 2g to 4.0. I downloaded the ispw file and tried to upgrade but in the process it failed. Now I can't even turn it on and when I try to connect it to itunes it doesn't show and says this USB Device not recognized. But then I read a thread to turn it back from the dead and it worked. But when I tried to restore it, it still failed. Then I download the itunes 4.0, since mine wasn't working and that also failed. I really need help on reviving my ipod back.

Since you have a 2G, just update to 4.0.2 and jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5. Click the little update button on iTunes.

Ok I tried the newest version of the update and it still didn't work. It still died while updating. I really need help on this.

I now completely uninstalled everything that is a part of itunes off of the itunes site. Then installed it again and still same problem. Please I really need some help.
