After SSH'ing into the Gangstar.app folder, I found a file called "menu.swf". A .swf is a shockwave flash file, so does this mean that iPods can play .swf files?

Change it with something else, see what happens.

Or try running it on your computer.

It probably just holds the images then for the menu.

hm Somehow they used a framework to recognize and play the swf file so yeah its possible it could play them.

The best way to test would be to replace it with another swf file and see what happens.

EDIT: i replaced it with copter.swf and it doesn't change the game, the pause menu is still there. Maybe its a concept of what the menu should look like or something.

First I thought it was some sort of container (eg. a renamed zip file). If the game still works with another swf file renamed as "menu.swf", try deleting it - but NOT before copying it to the computer or somewhere else.

It's probably a leftover file from the dev.
