Alright guys, so I was at a party and my iPod was hooked up to this girls stereo. We went inside to play beer pong and stuff and then without us noticing it started to drizzle outside with her stereo connected to my iPod. I walked outside and started to flip out because I thought for sure my iPod was fried. But to my surprised it still worked. Then once the battery died on it, it hasn't turned on since. Yes I have charged it on both my iPod stereo and my computer and it doesn't connect to either. Help? Thank you.

    Try DFU mode.

Btw does your computer recognize it at all?

No it doesn't even connect to it. I'm guessing something has to be fried in there, should I just take it to my apple store?

Check under your headphone jack with a flashlight.
If it's even a little red, it means your warranty is done.
And isn't your warranty over anyways? 1g...?

Yeah there isn't any red in there so I'm assuming something is friend in the interior. Thanks I'll just take it to the Apple store tomorrow.

    Yea I know.
    But it isn't 100% proven.
    Worth a try though.
