Well first let me start by saying I'm new to this forum, and this website is great in every aspect.

Okay well this one girl, in school that i know, is willing to sell her ipod for 30$. Shes selling it so low cause supposedly it fell in water.
But I tried it myself, and everything seems to work perfectly, but she told me that the videos and some songs don't play. would this be a system error, or was it caused by the water?
And is it worth buying it?

    I dont think thats possible...

Ask her what happens when she trys to play a video, or when listening to a song.

well you press for a video. it just doesnt play at all.
And on some songs it will play like around 4seconds then start all over.

Water would damage the hardware. If the iPod otherwise works fine, that sounds like a software issue. I'd go for it, and a restore might just fix it completely.

Buy it, Restore it, Jailbreak it.

    The restore should fix it.

Well, it might be hardware, but I doubt it. It sounds like a software problem to me.
I'd just buy it and restore. Even if the songs don't work, the apps and other crap does. So it's still worth it.
