I've had my iPod since 1.1.1, and hence, i've discovered every nook and cranny of every feature it has. The AppStore apps are just the same thing over and over, and there is no "One hit wonder" Application/Game.

I just find the iPod touch has become a bloated, repetitive piece of junk.

Ok then. We'll continue to enjoy our iPods while you stare at your bloated, repetitive piece of junk.

It's a gadget, man. A gadget that can play music -primarily- and do all the other stuff as a bonus. You're right about a lot of apps being clones. That's why I read comics and manga on it (iComic) and mostly listen to podcasts.

If you want to keep learning something on your iPod touch read a book on it. Then read another one. And another and so on. Soon you'll become The Grandfather of all Knowledge with your iPod touch (like I will).
