iPod Touch Boots, goes to command line execution and cant do anything

    Well, today i was just browsing and installing some apps, then uninstalled some useless ones

    then i rebooted to get rid of some app icons that were still there after uninstalling and this is what i get...



    help?

    Try to restore

    never had the problem
    perminant brick maybe?

    is there any way to backup my data and some applications?

    Hmm... it backs up every time you sync, for data and apps. If it's not detected by your computer, you'd better try DFU/Recovery Mode...

    yea, i opened itunes and started it up and it wasnt detected, then i tryed to ssh and it didnt work, so its restoring


    and i meant like notes, settings, and some necessary 3rd party apps



    btw... is there a tut on here on jailbreaking 2.0?

    I did this and all I did was just put it in DFU mode for it to work again.

    Notes, settings and apps are included in the backup, unless you downloaded them directly to the iPod and never synced before this happened.

    A backup is literally to bring your iPod to what it was before the restore, it includes settings, app arangements, web links, bookmarks, notes, contacts, you get the idea.
