Had anyone tried this bluetooth headset / mic from jay? It says to be itouch working, thanks to a compatible bluetooth adapter... Is it possible to let it work with safari skype app, or to a (jailbreaked) third party installed app?

Quite possibly, although nowhere on the site does it confirm that the Microphone would work with the iPod Touch. It would be good if someone could test it out?

    What is "safari skype app"?

I'm look for a soft to use skype because I saw this week-end at the fnac (shop in belgium) a tools with micro and speakers that we can connect to a ipod (classic) so before buy it and try if it works with the touch, I would like a soft for skype.

I wonder if it is not only bluetooth earphones support.. without mic-in..

I think that very probably this feature is blocked by the touch software, at 99% the microphone will not work "out of the box", and this is the reason why I would not suggest anyone to try, except if you have confidence with programming / touch hacking.. and have some ideas on how it would it be possible to connect a third party line-in with an ipod touch software..

I am not able to do that stuff but some guys who could to such a stuff should work on that because it would be amazing if a mic would work on the ipod touch. So we could use our ipot touch as a wifi-phone with the help of this site: http://s4iphone.com/no_index.jsp
