I just got the touch today. It is my first iPod and I was wondering if there is a way to tell how much battery life is left in the unit? Does it have an indicator like a laptop? Will it say"52% remaining" or anything like that? Thanks for the help!

this is my first post from my touch. I'll mod this as soon as I can. I am also wondering where to get a battery life meter? Are there any to download from this site.

    Thanks,
    Mike

The battery indicator is a green icon in the top right hand side of the screen. If it looks like an electric shock, it is charging. If it looks like a usb plug, it is charged. You can also see battery life when you plug it in on the unlock screen. When the ipod gets to 10%, there is a warning.

Actually, it gives a warning at both 20% and 10% (as i found out yesterday).
