Ok so I have no idea what is going on. It didn't happen in 4.0 jailbreak but in 4.1 jailbreak... my battery sucks. I used greenposi0n and even in airplane mode, when I put my ipod touch 3g in sleep mode, the battery drains out... Does anyone have a problem like this and does anyone have a solution?

Make sure wifi is off, also turn off other services: SSH, brightness, bluetooth etc.

Maybe your iPod Touch battery is defected, which would mean you get a new iPod Touch 4G from Apple. Did you have this problem before you jailbroke? Try restoring and using your iPod Touch for a day and see if it's the jailbreak that's the issue.

It's persistent wifi, push, and notifications.

Some app you installed has push, and it's eating your battery.

A simple search would of returned a few dozen posts on this same issue.

To fix, go to settings, general, reset, reset network settings. Voila!

I actually would love to say this and I will!

devadv is most probably right. Check your notifications, if its on something could be sucking your battery. So does push
