Hello, my iPod Touch only last a few hours listing to music, and it used to last a lot longer. The iPod is unjailbroken right now, wifi is off, there is no apps, nothing is on it except music but still last a few hours. So I'm tring to get it repaired by Apple soon. There is no Apple store here, but I'm going down south for a few days and I could go to the Apple store there.

So I have a few questions:
How should I get it repaired (mail, or go there)?
    What was your experiences?
-Do Apple just replace it with a refurb (should i remove the invisible shield, been there since day one, and don't want to scratch it up during shipping if im going to send it in)?
    How long does it take?
Do I have to make a appointment if I'm going there to get it fixed?

My iPod is a 2nd gen, 32GB, no engravings, still under warranty.

    Thanks!

you have a 2g ipod touch and your battery's dying already? oh boy
my 1g ipod touch that i bought on november of the released year still lasts at least a day
so i don't think your 2g ipod should have such a short battery life...

you should take it there in person and they will most likely give you a refurb.

I had it for half a year, a lot of close friends/relatives borrow it all the time along with the laptop i sync it up to. It gets used/charges all the time since they watch videos and play apps off of it. My 8gb first gen is still good though.

    Thanks for the reply

    Edit:
oh yea, do i have to make a appointment or anything?
