Alright, I wanna do this so i can sit my iPod on its dock under my monitor and view either:

    1. A small monitor for Windows, as a second monitor, not a mirror of the first. (I know, 480x320 is small, but it could be useful)

    2. A display to view chats in games, IM messages (Windows Live) or CPU usage/temp, RAM usage etc.

I want to do this over USB. This is important. Please don't suggest anythng that uses Wi-Fi. It use too much battery for this solution IMO.

Is there an app solution to do this at all?

    Thanks.

If it is plugged in anyway - using wifi shouldn't matter. I only know teamviewer, which just shows your screen and allows you to control your pc wirelessly.

Thanks, but I can just use VNC for that. Anyone else have an idea?
