ipod touch apps

    hi

    ive just got a brand new ipod touch 1tgb
    with the version 2.0 software

    however there is no applications button on the main screen

    my friend as one updated to version 2.0 and as the apps button
    to get ipint etc ......
    im wondering if anyone can help me on this ?

    I guess you mean a 16gb iPod?
    Are you sure the iPod says it is 2.0, cause I thought you have to buy 2.0; also on a new iPod.
    Could you make a screenshot of the homescreen (press home and power at the same time)

    yes it says 2.0 i have all the the icons
    weather youtube etc etc .............

    I guess you are looking for the AppStore button?
    I would recomment to use iTunes to buy Apps anyway, AppStore is buggy!

    if you open calculator, can you turn it into landscape mode to get an science calculator?

    what im saying is that my friend has 2.0 version with apps on is ipod

    i have same with no apps button

    i haven't the slightest idea what you meant

    i went on calculator but it was just a normal calculator how it should work lol

    turn it 90 degrees, does you then get a different calculator with pi, log, rad, cos, sin etc?

    it does nothing like that my ipod with the 2.0 version


    my friends does what you are saying though with the 2.0 version

    i think in going to take it back
