I know itunes is the best ever program made for a computer, you pay £150 for an ipod and then have to use iTunes, lol.

Anyway, i've never had this problem before, im on itunes 9 and 3.1.2 on my ipod touch. When i go to update the songs on the ipod, i click sync on itunes, itunes loads up the top and says:

    "Syncing applications"

    "Syncing iPod"

    then just stops....

I've restored, re-installed itunes, everything but i still cant update the songs on my ipod.

    Any help please?

    Thanks

Make sure that music is set to sync in the 'Music' tab in the iPod pane in iTunes.

Exactly, you probably have iTunes set to not sync your music. Make sure that is always the first thing you check.
