Hi this is the first time that I write in this forum and I want your opinions about what happend to my ipod three days ago!.

I went to the beach and I forgot that I had my ipod in my pocket so my ipod was completely wet and after that my ipod didn't work anymore.. so my question is: there's any hope that my ipod will be able to work again?

Perhaps if you let it dry completely. (It may take a few days.) I wouldn't get your hopes up, because salt water can be corrosive.

    Good luck, anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that, but just return it for the warranty (Say that when it turned on one day, it broke). They don't investigate it that much, my friend did it w/o any trouble.

Cheers and welcome to the forums

leave it on a window ledge or dry it off with a hair dryer...if it doesn't work then make sure it is completely dry and if u can (if it is jailbroken) restore it in itunes! then take it back to the shop if your the warrenty hasn't expired and tell them it stopped working. MENTION NOTHING ABOUT THE BEACH!!!

if not then all i can say is (Sorry but) tuff luck it was you who took it for a swimming lesson

Remember IPOD + WATER = BROKEN IPOD!

You could place it in a bag of uncooked rice for a while.
The rice will absorb the moisture but it will take a couple of days.

Also, as per the above post, do not take your iPod to Apple, they'll know it was wet due to the litmus paper in the headphone slot changing colour.

    Dude!

I had a dream that this happened to my iPod... but at a public pool.

Swimming happily... and then see the iPod floating on the bottom of the Pool...

BTW... Salt Water + iPod Touch = Broken iPod...

You can fix your iPod, Salt water Effs the circuit and electric stuff in it up like crazy...
