Okay there is two methods going to be coming out.

    1. Bootrom/userland hybrid. It uses the usb_control_msg(0xA1, 1) Exploit and the upcoming comex userland jailbreak going to be combine with SHAtter in greenpois0n.

    Advantages:
Verbose Boot (command line interface booting): Example
Custom boot logo's (also seen in video above)
    Custom Recovery Logo's

    2. Pure userland. The iPod touch 3G and iPhone 3GS new bootrom still rely on userland jailbreaks and the tethered4life devices (All A4 devices and iPod Touch 2G MC) still rely on a *kernel* exploit which is used in userland jailbreaks to make it untethered.

    Advantages:
Might not need a computer, could work like jailbreakme.com

    Which method would you use?

FINALLY, IPT3G USERS CAN CATCH A BREAK.

But, to be honest, whichever one comes sooner.

If it works well according to everyone else (i.e. no glitches, errors etc..), I'll use it. Otherwise, I'll wait for the patch or the second method. (Again, whichever comes sooner.)
