ipod touch 4g mic speaker and sensor

    the new ipod touch consists of the light sensor (next to the camera), the speaker (external near the charge port), and a built in microphone.

    This guy has been misinformed, the thing next to the camera on the back is the microphone. The light sensor is basically invisible on the front side.

    I think it might be a light sensor for the camera. If you look at pics from the bottom, you can see the microphone hole on the other side of the 30 pin connector just like the iPhone.

    Edit: NVM I saw a picture from the bottom and it was labled as speakers. So the mic is next to the camera

    On the Back next to the Camera, you can actually see it on your avatar. The black dot next to the camera

    Directly to the right of the rear camera. That dot. Is the microphone.

    no the dot is a light sensor i asked multiple apple experts on the website and received the same response that the microphone is built into the ipod (not visible)
