    Explained doubts:

1.- All three iPods are 4th Generation, there is no 8Gb 3rd Generation iPod touch.

2.- The front facing camera takes pictures (VGA quality) and video (VGA Quality)

3.- The Rear Camera (Back) takes still pictures (960x720) and 720p HD video Recording (Just like the iPhone)

    4.- No Led Flash

5.- I don't know why you give so much importance to the megapixels, it has nothing to do with quality, it is only with size.

I think 960x720 is the normal use of a photo, and something I hate about my cybershot is that it takes too large photos, 4mb to 6mb each photo I take...

6.- I assure you that in the coming weeks some apps will make that camera better.

7.- I don't know if it has autofocus.

8.- It has a speaker and a microphone.

With this photo I realize that they improved the speaker

9.- And finally, will I buy it?... Of Course.

I hope you liked my thread.

#7: It appears to have tap to change exposure, but looks like it's a fixed focus lens - no tap to focus, only tap for exposure.

    1. Correct
    2. Yep
    3. Yes
    4. Exactly
    5. You understood it, 960*720 is not the normal photo size, but its enough for casual photos.
    6. I dont think so.
    7. It has Tap to focus
    8. Agreed on that

Actually cleared out my doubts about the camera. Thanks.

Ehhh, more megapixels can help in some situations.
Although sensor size is the main issue.

But luckily I'm not buying the iPod touch for photos, just HD video.

It appears to be that there is no mic and controls in the headphones.

We don't know, Apple doesn't say anything about it, anyways, if they don't have controls I don't mind, I use Sony Earbuds.

I'm pretty sure that you can lower the resolution of the photos on your CS.

There is a mic, it's where the LED flash is on the iPhone 4. (I don't know if there are any other mics on the new Touch, maybe the one on the back is a noise canceling one and there is one in the headphone jach, because apple got some patent or something for that recently.)

He was not referring to the microphone on the touch. He meant that the earphone is the plain one, not the earphones with remote and mic.

Anyway, we won't know for sure until it arrives, but i doubt it won't have the earphones with remote and mic.
