Hello, I have a friend that works in Liverpool's (UK) Apple Store, and late at night (today) they received the iPod Touch 4G and they put organised them.

like ndrwzheng said, it's probably best to go asap so after school or something tomorrow if you can, just to be safe. by the weekend they may have run out of their first shipment and will have to wait on another.

Best buy and Future Shop always has them the same price as Apple for the first couple months when it's really popular. Afterwards (like after the Christmas holidays), they'll drop the price to match USA Apple.com's prices (however by then BB in the US will drop them as well by 20.)

For example, the iPod touch 2nd gen was 229 right? for 8gb. It was 259 in Canada! At first, BB and FS had them for $259 as well, after holidays it was $229. The US was $229, after Xmas it went down to $199.

Then Apple made it $199 for 8GB in the US, so BB dropped it to $179.

Apple is most likely gonna be more expensive. However BB and FS aren't dumb, they know that even if they match Apple's pricing, people will still buy from them because they got a better return policy.

SWEETTTT. By the way how much is the iTouch 4 in the UK? I'm sure it's more expensive than here in Canada or the US. And what's the tax percentage over there? I know the US is like 6%, Ontario (Canada) is 13%. I heard in Europe it's pretty high there, with France going as high as 18%.

I think in UK it is 17.5 (I do not live in UK). In greece it is 23% and it will go to 25% this winter
