Has anyone had first hand experience with the USB compatability with Kenwood car stereos, specifically with the series KDC-MP1,2,3,4,6, 42U ? Any problems ?

    3G iPod touch
i don't know about sony or kenwood but my alpine wouldn't work with my ipt3g. i ended up buying a cable through ebay that uses the ai-net and is made for the newer ipod's using the 5v charging voltage. works great but i plan on Modding my original setup to work with my new touch. I would say chances of them working on the 2g or 3g is slim if they were produced prior to the 2g's being released. It is much easier for automotive applications to use the 12v firewire connection than having to convert it down to 5v usb
