The wait for the untethered jailbreak for the ipod touch 3G reminds me of the wait for the ipod touch 2g untethered. Anybody else feel it. There were (dont know if there still are) a lot of videos on youtube supposedly showing a untethered jailbreak. The videos had comments only saying "quickpwn or whatever doesnt recognize my ipod touch 2g 2.2.1) I remember waiting patiently for the untethered on my 2G ( i was one of the few who did)now Im waiting again for the 3G untethered. I'm tethered right now and its amazing not much different since i never turn off or reboot my ipod.

You're right, it's not /that/ bad, which is why people b*tching about the exploit being held back for posterity are ridiculous.

Now if you had to reload every thing every time you turned it off then I would see a problem...

I can clearly say that this is the first time I'm using a tethered device and have no problem but if you go travel somewhere, like on a ten hour flight with no outlets, you may be in trouble.

well said man. I'm sure there's no need to reboot your ipod many time or even once.

yeah an ipod will last you a good amount of time. I take my car and house charger everywhere lol.
