    Hey guys!

So I had iOS 4.0 GM (unjailbroken) and today I found out that Official Version has fixed the problem with Wallpapers for iPod touch 3G.

They problem is that I tried to update it by simply "check for updates" and it said i have the latest version. Then I clicked "restore" and It downloaded brand new 4.0 and and then started doing the process..

I am seeing a bar "Restoring iPod Software..." and it's at like very final peak like very small part left and it's just there wont move for like hours... Same with my iPod Apple logo and underneath the bar is stuck at like "VERY" small part... And it just wont move...

I have tried it several times even by downloading firmware and doing ALT+Restore (Shift+Restore) and still EXACT problem. I have also tried DFU mode and then Restore still SAME PROBLEM.

I have latest itunes.. and everything.

I have 3rd gen ipod touch and GM 4.0 Ran Perfectly Fine! And I am sorta scared!

It just WONT UPDATE! I don't think I can go to 3.1.3 but I haven't tried that.

Let me know I would love solutions.
    Thanks.

If I were you, I'd just go back to 3.1.3 and straight use itunes to update to 4.0.

Would probably be the quickest solution.

I don't think I can go back to 3.1.3 Now! Since I have already had 4.0 Signed from Apple's Servers!

Maybe you could put it in DFU to restore to 4.0?

Well then go back to 3.1.3 then go back to 4.0.
It will work with shift+restore method with out a problem. Well it did for my brothers iPod that makes me do that often.
