hey guys, do you really think a jailbreak will be available for 3g?
i highly doubt it will be possible for a while. apple will try their best to put a stop to it. for 2g, it was released September 08, jb came out feb 09, but is it just me, or does anyone else also think that it wont get any easier next time
maybe a jb that requires opening up hardware... but software, Im not getting my hopes up. im not going to buy it until a confirmed safe jailbreak comes out with no issues..

my opinion, anyone feel free to comment

The 2G jailbreak took months on end. Came out on Sept. 9, jailbroken beginning the 1st of February.

Yea. It depends if Apple reuses the bootrom again. If they do, it's as easy as exploiting 24kpwn, if not, this will be fun.

They already have in the iPhone 3GS. They did it twice with iPhone, iPod touch 1G, and iPhone 3G.

They find it to be illegally using copyrighted Apple code. Fair enough, but the DCMA allows unlocking, and unless Apple offers and unlocked iPhone everywhere, jailbreaking cannot be illegal. It also hurts Apple through illegal apps, and other illegal things to occur. It's just a problem for Apple that they are working on making go away.

the main reson why the 2g jailbreak came out so late is because the iphone dev team was foucusing on the 3G unlock
